Alyssa joined Lauletta Birnbaum after clerking for the Honorable James R. Swift, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Cumberland County, where she worked on matters in the Complex Business Litigation Program and served as a certified court mediator in small claims and landlord–tenant disputes.
Prior Experience
Before law school, Alyssa studied Economics and Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond and then worked in trading operations at a financial technology company. She attended Temple University’s Beasley School of Law on a full merit scholarship, concentrating her coursework on trial advocacy and antitrust.
At Temple, Alyssa served as a research assistant to Dean Rachel Rebouche studying the use of contracts in family law and to Temple’s Institute for Law, Innovation, and Technology (iLIT), analyzing global policy on data collection, use, and privacy. During law school she also interned with the Federal Community Defender’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and later joined Lauletta Birnbaum as a summer associate, solidifying her interest in corporate litigation.
