Christopher Mullen
Christopher’s practice centers on real estate acquisitions, development projects, and commercial leasing, where he represents owners, developers, investors, and tenants across a range of asset types. He has substantial experience navigating zoning and land-use matters, guiding clients through variances, use determinations, redevelopment approvals, site plans, and building and development permits before municipal and state agencies.
In addition to his real estate work, Christopher advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, loan transactions, and corporate governance issues.
Prior Experience
Christopher previously practiced in the real estate and corporate departments of a mid-size Philadelphia law firm, where he handled a wide range of commercial real estate transactions. His experience includes negotiating commercial lease agreements and amendments, preparing purchase agreements for industrial and retail properties, and reviewing title commitments and surveys in connection with real estate development projects.
Christopher also served as a summer associate with the firm from 2018 through 2019. Prior to practicing law, he worked for a Fortune 500 real estate company, where he analyzed tenant leases as well as sales and expense comparables for multifamily and office assets. He later worked as a commercial mortgage-backed securities analyst for a national rating agency, evaluating the credit performance of a diverse portfolio of securitized CMBS assets.
During law school, Christopher interned for the Honorable Michael E. Erdos of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. He earned his law degree from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Drexel Law Review.
