Lauletta Birnbaum Attorneys Named Super Lawyers

Lauletta Birnbaum Attorneys Named Super Lawyers

Several of Lauletta’s attorneys were selected as 2017 Super Lawyers. Mauricio Cuellar, whose main practice areas are Real Estate and Business/Corporate, and Frank Suglia, a seasoned civil litigator, were named “Rising Stars.” Krishna Narine, whose focus is on Antitrust and Business Litigation, and Allan Richardson, who practices Employment and Civil Litigation, were named “Super Lawyers.”

Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters, uses research and peer influence to recognize outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. To compile their annual list, they use a patented multi-phase selection process. Top attorneys are nominated by their peers, and the list is evaluated by a third-party research group as well as a highly-credentialed Blue Ribbon Panel of attorneys. The lists are then published in Super Lawyers Magazines and in leading city and regional magazines across the country. More information about the selection process can be found here.

No aspect of this selection has been approved by the Supreme Court of New Jersey.

Lauletta Birnbaum Sponsors Business Model Competition

Lauletta Birnbaum recently sponsored the 2017 Business Model Competition, an annual competition designed to support ideas, concepts, and seed-stage companies through impactful monetary rewards and strong, ongoing, in-kind support. Rowan University’s Rohrer College of Business hosted the competition, which wrapped up on Saturday, April 8, 2017, when five teams of students competed live in front of four distinguished judges: Linda Rohrer, Chairman at Rowan University’s Board of Trustees; Stephen Gill, CEO and Co-Founder at Red Spark; Katherine O’Neill, Executive Director at Jumpstart New Jersey Angel Network; and Greg Payton, Vice President of Program and Performance Management at PNC.

Lauletta Birnbaum was on-site Saturday morning to watch the competition and is excited to work with these young entrepreneurs in the future. The firm is providing six hours of consultations in the area of intellectual property protection. Below is a group shot of the participants with their monetary winnings.
